Open the Squad tab and sign in or create a free account. Tap Create Group and share the 6-character invite code with your travel companions — they enter it under Join Group.
Location sharing isn't working — what should I check?
Go to your phone's Settings → Rafiqh → Location and make sure it's set to Always (iOS) or Allow all the time (Android). Then open the Squad chat or map and toggle the location switch on. Make sure battery saver mode isn't blocking background activity.
I forgot my Squad password — how do I reset it?
On the Sign In screen tap Forgot Password?, enter your email address, and we'll send a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't appear.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at ahmination@gmail.com with subject "Delete my account" and the email linked to your account. We'll permanently remove your profile and all associated data within 7 days.
Hajj reminders and geofence notifications aren't showing.
Go to Settings → Rafiqh → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed. For geofence alerts (e.g. entering Arafat), location must be set to Always. Also check that Do Not Disturb / Focus mode isn't blocking the app.
The prayer times look wrong for my location.
Make sure location permission is granted so the app can detect your city. If the issue continues, contact us with your city, country, and the calculation method you expect (e.g. Umm al-Qura, MWL, ISNA).
How do I report an inappropriate Squad message?
Long-press any message in a group or DM chat — you'll see Report Message and Block User options. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Is the Sa'i walk Fard or Wajib?
Sa'i (walking between Safa and Marwa) is considered Wajib according to the Hanafi and Maliki schools, and a Rukn (pillar) by the Shafi'i and Hanbali schools. The app follows the majority position that classifies it as Wajib for Hajj.
Is Rafiqh free? Are there in-app purchases?
All pilgrimage essentials — Hajj guidance, prayer times, Zikr, Duas, and maps — are completely free. Some additional features may be offered in future updates, but core functionality will always remain free.
